The extremely versatile lavender oil is a best seller throughout the year.

Lavender will help you with is many properties:
  • Relaxation helps children and adults;
  • Breathing help;
  • Insect repellent;
  • Antiseptic, fungicidal;
  • Deodorant;
  • Relief of headaches;
  • Useful during flu to help you recover.
A perfect way to relax with its light aroma on its own or blended with other oils.
Diffuse it in a burner or aroma diffuser or place a few drops on your pillow.
Less known is also its mosquito repellent properties (on its own or blended with citronella or clove bud oils). Useful as well to protect stored linen and clothing from moth or various pests (pour the lavender oil on a few chunks of charcoal wrapped in a handkerchief, the charcoal will act as a humidity absorber to boot).
A perfect oil to help you breathe better when suffering from a cold. A few drops in hot water, a towel over your head and a few minutes breathing in the vapors will work wonders.
Plenty of wonderful blends can be accommodated with lavender:geranium, citrus oils (bergamot, orange, etc), marjoram, rosemary, sandalwood, jasmine.

This oil comes from Haute Provence, near the village of Sault at 1000m above sea level.

In this area there are two regulatory systems which help to define the quality of the oil. These are the Organic Certification (generally Ecocert in this area) and the Appellation d’Origine Protégée (A.O.P.). These systems help ensure that the cultivated Lavender replicates as much as possible the qualities of the wild plan
This is the top quality of any lavender oil because of its growing location and altitude but also because the lavender plants are reproduced by seeds. Most producers use cuttings meaning all plants are identical (clones). When using seeds, each plant is different with its own scent. The oil produced is hence richer and deeper. This oil is qualified as a “Fine Lavender Oil”.
To top it up this lavender is certified organic, no chemicals are used (sheep provide an efficient weed removal service for instance!).
